Alright, now, I am by no means an expert at math, nor am I great at formulas and stuff. so, I am wondering what type of volumes and pressures I'd need for my marker. So, first some things, I figure you need about at least 6 inches of barrel to get best air efficiency. see, in a design I'm working, I have the valve face almost directly behind the ball, so, there's a direct transfer of air from the vavle to the ball, and that means that I may need more volume, less pressure than other systems right? in any event. I'm trying to figure out how much volume I need in my marker, especially the vavle. Also, I need to figure out any other mathematical formulas or whatever that would be relevent, like spring pressures and how to formulate how much spring pressure I need to open a valve, how little to allow the valve to close after hammer releases fom the valve ect, ect... any hel pyou can offer would be appreciated as I'm nearing completion of the drafting stage and getting ready to enter actual prototype production. for this I'll need to use the autocoker front-pneumos and thus also a cocker trigger system. if anyone has a cheap way to get those than I'd appreciate that as well, as I'm tight for cash right now, and I'm neeing those components before I can start to mill out my reciever. I'm nearing completion, and having |
