: My son is doing a science project on paintball guns, and we need some imformation about the barrel lengths and velocities. We used a chronograph to record the speed of 3 different barrel lengths and found the longer the barrel the slower the paintball. Do you have any technical imformation on this subject or know of a website that does?

ok jus a lil info...for you...barrel length doesnt really matter if under 12 inches...if u want the gun quiter u need at least 4 inches ported and 8 inches of solid...haveing a longer barrel doesnt nessaraly make it more accurate...ummm u can prolly tri to get more info on the cocker flat line system or the tipmans...also matching paint to bore helps accuracy and use of less air
