No appreciable effect would be noted. It does act as a partial flow restriction. It is there to slow the acceleration of the ball and thus decrease how much the ball deforms during acceleration. If it accelerates too fast and deforms too much, the ball breaks in the barrel. You would likely notice this most in cold weather play when the ball walls are cold and brittle and break easily. So you would want it in for cold weather play. As long as you are getting 300 fps, in all playing conditons, I would leave it in place. : if i have a stock spyder and running c02 at stock set psi , if i decided to take out the venturi would it help me in any way whatsoever? if so what would it do and if there were any bad side effects from doing this what would they be? dont worry i havent taken anything apart yet
