: I use a remote line, cuz my 20 oz tank is heavy like crazy! If you do that, you dont need to buy a drop foreward! also, to even the balance, get a new Evolution II hopper from Vl, they are very nice, I tried one, and it helps the balance on a remoteed marker greatly, although they're also pricy, which may be bad, especially since we use spyders, and aint usually the richest people around, LOL Yo, for those of you who do have a few bucks, and still love spyders, you can get it milled to reduce weight. Get a small tank and play at a field that gives unlimited refills, or get a couple of small tanks. I don't like remote lines, I;ve had a few bad experiences with them in tourneys. The following is a list of things that will add weight to your gun and where, since you haven't listed your set-up or anything, but hey, no prob. Tank: If direct feed, front/mid Frame: Standard, very little in back Hopper: VL 200, n/m weight, but n/m feed
If bottom line, back
If remote, none
If drop forw., mid.
Electric, back
Agitated hopper, Mid
I have a compact 2000, no sight rail, esp classic, 12v revy w/ jt slammer collar, 42-300 steel n2, and 68-3000 CF n2. I have a core drop forward, (7" forward, 3" drop). And a few other things. My point is, my gun is nearly perfectly balanced at the front of the trigger. Whatever, it's balanced well, and if i talk anymore, my fingers will fall off, so HTH. Later.
