A basic spyder or gen X cocker will BOTH out shoot the average player holding it.... Until you have YEARS of paintball experience in tournament or rec ball few players can shoot as well as the marker they are holding.

The Pros MISS their target 80% of the time. Ever watch a tape of a tournament? 8 pods plus a hopper full of paint for a 5 minute game!

A testimony that "rate of fire (ROF)" really means "miss your target rapidly."

The POINT IS:

Technology does NOT make you a better player.

The "Marketing Plan" is to make you think otherwise.

"We've got the best gizmo since sliced bread and you just have to get it."

The swing grips for cockers are the latest, mostly useless fad getting players to part with money they should have spent on paint and field fees so they could BE a better player.

But remember it is often cheaper to buy a marker that was built with the upgrades in it than buying all the upgrades piece meal.
