If you completly disconnect the battery and open up the trigger frame you can wash it down with alcohol. let it in the sun for a few days. Water and achohol won't fry your board, but running electricty when it is still wet will for sure. MAKE SURE IT IS COMPLETLY DRY BEFORE RE-CONNECTING THE BATTERY. You should be fine after that. This happened to me as well, so i closed off the little window on my trigger frame. Good luck, best regards : Alright, I was playing a 2-day scenerio game, when I got lit up on my gun. I am right handed by the way. If you don't know what that has to do with anything, the glass panel is on the left side of the grip, so that you can see into the grip to see which dip switches are switched. Well, when I got off the field I noticed that my gun's light was still shining dimly, even though the grip was off. Also, whenever I'd shoot my gun, the bolt would recock multiple times, as if I were out of air, even though I just got my tank filled. Sometimes it would do this after the first shot, sometimes after the fifth, but never past about seven. I finished the game with my backup gun and when I got home, I took the grip off the gun and open it up. I used my on/off valve of my Co2 tank to clean up most of the paint, I didn't want to use water on it, duh. Also, when I tried to switch the dip switches to make sure that switches even worked anymore, the battery had died, the gun was draining the battery, even after it had been off. What do I do? Should I sell the body with the parts and the grip for scrap? I am currently cleaning the grip components with Q-tips and leaving the grip open in the sun to dry. What should I do? This is my first year with the gun!! Please respond soon. Thanks.
