Co2 psi varies widely with temperature and fill amount. It generally stays between 600-900psi if the weather is moderate.

Spyders operate best between 600 and 800psi.

Expansion chambers are basically worthless and do nothing to keep pressure's consistent. A regulator will allow you to limit the pressure of the air source, so psi will remain VERY consistent until the tank pressure drops below the regulator setting (regs can't increase pressure).

If you're going to use a reg with co2 be sure to buy one durable enough to handle co2. Good co2 regs are palmers, wgp ergo, and cmi-r2000.
