Well make sure you buy a nitro tank and avoid all the CO2 problems.... It is set up for it.

What pressure is the reg set at? If below 400-500 psi and shoots 300 fps at the chrono, he may have put a LP valve in it too. Those cost $40.

You probably won't be happy with the rifled barrel. They basically degrade accuracy than improve it. Especially with inexpensive field paint. You strictly have to use good paint with the rifled barrels. Make him throw in the stock barrel that came with it.

For that matter. All the old spare parts.

Now if it doesn't perform flawlessly, reduce the price and make an offer. Spyders are easily fixed and the most expensive thing to buy is a replacement valve at $40 new - $20 used. Everything else is less than $20 and most parts are under $10.
