I've seen it done before, If you describe what I picture. It's basically making the bolt no longer than the connecting pin that links the bolt to the hammer, and removing all of the upper tube as posible. I think I even saw a Brass Eagle with this setup!! even the venerable 'cocker has been hacked in such a way; the bolt rides above the hammer, with pins coming from the bottom of the bolt to pull the hamemr back. thus the back block's right behind the feed tube. I think that I have a working design that reduces the profile even more by using the valve AS the bolt! that's my new tech, but I need machining tools to make it with :( |
