E-99 Reactive Trigger Response

What exactly does Reactive Trigger Response mean? In the Spyder E-99 Manual, it states on Single Shot Mode, Reactive Trigger Response. I have yet to see that do anything.. Any Ideas? What does it mean, does it work? Etc.
