Dirt and gum must be removed periodically. Clean throughly if you haven't already. You are saying that adjusting the velocity screw no longer produces 300 fps when screwed in all the way? If so, the problem MIGHT be the infamous shutter regulator. They do have a reputation of becomming non functional. Can you adjust the reg back up to a higher pressure? A quick swap of a bottom line hose to the regulator from a functioning spyder could answer that question definitively. Let me know if you need a new reg. Far superior to the stock reg in the $20-$30 range.
