electronic markers have computer chips and soleniods, and other parts that make them shoot faster due to a shorter trigger pull and some have other options such as burts, turbo/zip and full auto. most if not all fields only let you use semi auto, for obvious reasons. regular guns are totally mechanical, with no electronics. real electros are usually expensive-bushmasters, angels, matrix, impulses, shockers, etc. other guns like spyders have electronic frames but they arent considered electro. hope this helps.
