well if you want to play in the woods, tippmanns are pretty good for that, since thats what they were designed for. any gun will perform at least decent in woods, its just that sticks, twigs, etc get in the way of your fire and the balls break. what you really have to do when thinking about buying a spyder is looking at other spyder models and comparing them to what you want. are there useless/unnecessary parts that a similar gun doesnt have? if thats the case then it will most likely be cheaper. but id have to say that spyders are worth the money if you are going to keep them for a while and you dont plan on upgrading them too much. if you want a kick-@$$ electro for cheap, i recommend the new bushmaster w/ pds.
