The PhOG is the best Phantom group there is. The forum there is one of the most informative and friendly I've ever participated in.

Smart choice, I think Phantoms are the best pumps out of the box. When you order a Phantom you can mix n match parts like Legos to get what you want. Internally they are all the same, you just need to decide if you want to go stockclass or df. I recommend df to start, and buy a sc breech when you get used to playing pump. Available barrel lengths are 6, 8, 11 and 14 inches. I recommend going with the 8 or 11 inch. They are just as accurate as the 14, easier to squeegee and not as obtrusive so you can play tighter to the bunker. I have an old 14" SP AA but I only use it in woods games so I can shove the barrel through brush to shoot.

The stock barrels shoot great and are not relatively loud, plus you'll be shooting less so its not as big an issue. With the right paint to barrel match the accuracy is amazing. Rollouts can be a problem with small paint but CCI just released a cheap detent ring that slips in the end of the barrel. I've heard goodresults from them

Go by the PhOG...
