Hello,
I was installing a bottomline on one of my markers, and the part that screws directly into the gun's ASA and accepts the hose was leaking... it wasn't from the 1/8" female port that accepts the hose, but was from the ASA itself. So, what I did was I wrapped the threads of the part that screws into the ASA with teflon tape and put an O-Ring at its base. It stopped the leak completely. My question is, is it alright to put the teflon tape on the threads of that part that screws into the ASA? Can it potentially damage my gun's internals, or will it be OK? Thanks for any info you can give me.
