personally I use a first generation Dye Stainless barrel on my Sniper2...thing weighs a ton BUT its self cleaning and shoots straight and true.

Not many mods needed on a Sniper2 - all depends on what kind of gas you are using and what you want out of it...basically changing the stock bolt, the barrel, and maybe adding a reg/exp chamber if you are using CO2 through it.
