I'm waiting to see some testing from people I trust. I've only seen one review so far and he was comparing it to a Phantom and going on and on about how the Phantom sucked compared to it. However, the testing was far from what I'd call scientific. He claimed to be shooting thru a pool at 70ft while the Phantom was throwing it all over... but there was no mention of barrel IDs or paint-to-barrel matching... and claiming that it literally shot farther at the same FPS, which immediately red-lined my bulls***-o-meter. I'm a Phantom lover but not biased... in fact, I plan on buying one if the price comes down. The platform will allow for easy mod plugins and looks like there'll be enough "meat" on the body for custom milling. I like under-barrel pumps and happy that a Freak system will prolly work. I hope the best for it being the newest pump in so long but the price needs to come down first or I'd buy a Sniper II for the price and reputation. 42 shots per 12gr... well, what were the conditions? Ambient temperature, springing, how long between shots and what was the final velocity? Most Phantoms, Carters, and LAPCO Ghosts get that at 260fps under the right conditions. On a hot day shooting 270fps I could get 45 shots out of my '87 Carter Comp if I kept my ROF to 1 or 2 shots a minute, the last few at 220-225 fps. We'll just have to wait and see...
