Microline is lightweight and removable, but can develop a leak when you really don't want it to. Frequent removable or twisting chews up the little orings inside the fittings. Also, it doesn't scratch up the ano. SS hose is burlier but heavier and needs to either be sealed into place with teflon tape or have q/d's installed. Unless you tape or shrinktube it, it'll tear up your anodizing. I like both... but lately I've set up my Phantom with a SS hose with quickdisconnect and dig it. : What is better the standard hose for the phantom or the metal braded hose?
