I obviously own a Phantom and of course love it. I think one of the few people on this forum who have any experience would be Ben Kohen, if he's still around (?). He gave it rave reviews for accuracy and over all workmanship. Hope this helps.
If both guns were about even as far as accuracy, reliability, ease of care and so on, I'd say the Phantom IS worth the extra $50 because of the versatility it give you. You can set it up in any number of configurations where the Armason does not have much of a customizable path.
One other factor that I would give to the Phantom is customer service. Mike at CCI (creator and builder of all Phantoms) has by far the best customer service in the industry.
