Paint Artillary

I just had a strange idea, but i need someone else's opinion on whether it would work or not.
It involves paintball artillary. This little invention of mine could shoot little plactic cups filled with 5-10 paintballs out of a tube (old exaust pipe with rust removed by angle grinder) and into the air. The cup will have extra weight on the front so it tips down, spilling out the balls. As they fall they gain more velocity and fall and break on the opponents heads.

This contraption could be built by taking an old exhaust pipe and welding a round plate to one end of the pipe, sealing it. Make sure the pipe is filed or ground smooth. Oil the pipe to help reduce friction between the pipe and the cup.
In the plate that you welded to the pipe, drill a hole big enough for an old bathtub drainhole thing. Take an old bathtub drain thing and weld it inside the hole. Weld a strong pin to the center of the drain. Then take a small metal tube the same size or slightly larger than the drain and weld it over the drain to the outside of the plate welded to the tube. Saw the tube so it is about half the length of a CO2 powerlet. Take a peice of thick rubber and heavily duct tape it to the end of the small tube. Cut a roundhole in the rubber with a diameter slightly smaller than a Co2 powerlet. If the plastic cups you have are too small for the exaust pipe, duct tape around the cup until the cup can slide through the exhaust pipe without too much friction and the space between the cup and the pipe is very small so the Co2 cant excape the pipe without shoving out the cup of balls out of the tube and send it flying.
Solder some lead onto the inside rim of the cup to make it top heavy (not too much)

To make it work, slide the plastic cup of balls down into the pipe. Take a Co2 powerlet and put it into the small tube with the rubber hole. Put the contraption on some sort of stand and aim it upwards. Hit the end of the Co2 powerlet lightly with a hammer to send it at the needle, which punctures into the powerlet. This lets the Co2 to escape into the exaust pipe and push against thecup, and send it out of the pipe and into the air. Since the cup was top heavy, it will eventually ttip down and spill the balls. The balls will fall for a while and burst when they hit and opponent (Hopefully).

please post whether you think this wiil work on this site because i dont like giveing out address.
