PGP 2 Q

Is anyone using the 2001 PGP?

I tried using mine again yesterday, and I keep having the same problem. When I rock-&-cock, the rear most ball in the tube rolls past the opening. I have to tilt the gun forwards again to get it to feed, and sometimes the ball rolls out of the barrel.
I play FPO, mostly, so I don't have a choice of paint.

Is anyone else having this problem?
Is there a mod, or is it technique? My Sidekick, DSDS, and old PGP work fine pumping with the muzzle elevated.
