Consider a used Phantom with stock barrel. I've seen them on eBay for under $200.

The SL68-II is a good gun, but it has drawbacks:
limited supply of aftermarket barrels
odd elbow size (you have to use a special hopper, or an adapter)
integral grip frame (can't upgrade to 45 or move the ASA)
Each of these can be overcome, but they're considerations.


It's a good gun for the money, but I don't think I've used mine since I got my Phantom (sometimes I bring it along as backup). The Phantom has many possible configurations and upgrades.

The Phantom can also be converted to stock class, some day, when I'm good enough. ;-]
