Like Lord Bunker, I'm not a stock class player. My Phantom was origionaly SC, but I felt the rock and cock took away from it's accuracy and quickly went DF and Bottomlined CA.

I think SC is going to be really tough to build much support for. For most it would mean investing in another marker. Something I do with an old Stingray is play Ben Kohen's style of play (at least I think that's what he's been about). Instead of using hoppers just using 10 round tubes. I actually have a tube attatched and fill it from other tubes. I LOVE having to re-load every 10-15 shots. To me it really adds a lot to the game. Buying a box of 10 round tubes is much less of an investement than an SC marker. If you're willing to spend a few bucks to get something started bring a box of tubes to the local filed and see if a small group would be willing to give it a try. Of course I don't think you'll get much support from the field. IN fact they may mock and ridicule you. Using 10 rnd tubes greatly reduces a markers paint flinging ability and will cut into their paint sales. So unless you find a field owner that is receptive, I'd say you may be dead in the water before you begin.

Of course there's tons of (hmm...what are they calling us nowdays?) well I always called myself and Independant Player (Independent of high prices). A group of Independents might be much more receptive. Ecspecialy when you tell them it can really decrease how much they spend on paint. It's a great way to stretch your paintball dollar.

Let us know how it goes.

: I see a few of you in the Kansas/Missouri that like to play with pumps. I have some basic semis and am getting back into the pumps. Have a SL68II and Maverick on the way. Maybe a Hornet and Phantom soon. I'm trying to build some interest in the KC area to begin some stock class or some loose version thereof.

: What's the interest out there? I see Phantom Menace and a few others that seem interested. 1st time on the board and I'm very happy to find a forum for the pumps in a world of semis.
