... going with a light valve spring and a stiff mainspring. At normal pressures (800-850psi) this would be insanely high. The idea is to keep the valve open longer to allow a larger volume of lower pressure to flow thru. You'll want a tightbored barrel or a lot of your potential pressure will blast past the ball.
