Posted it on the Tinkers Guild when someone posted pics of a "Tommy Gun" Tippman complete with spring fed 50rnd drum. I'd love to have a breechloaded marker, but have the valve popped open when you cock and drop a hammer like on a percussion cap/ flintlock rifle. Then i'd find an Old West scenario and dress like Grizzly Adams.

I've seen pics of a lever-action, springfed paint rifle. It was pretty ghetto-looking, but serviceable and would look good with some grinding and polish. Many companies or custom shops do similar things... Mad Customs can do a boltaction Phantom bedded in a rifle stock.

Your idea really isn't too difficult to do design-wise, but they will cost an arm-and-leg to manufacture since only a customshop will undertake such a venture with limited demand. It'll need to be pressure-vessel powered cuz you just can't get enough pressure-to-volume with a handpump system to fire a paintball. A cleverly hidden 12gr changer in the stock can power it.

Until then, a directfed pump with no hopper being fed by single balls by hand is a fun substitute.
