: got ordered up to the top to better exploit my "long range accuracy" seems that since i was hitting the people that were 40' away everyone thought my pump hand range. Heh...I've been there. One of the first scenarios I played in with my Phantom, every time I got re-inserted the "general" ordered me to go up the one tapeline...by myself ("because one person can better move undetected"...I'm 6' tall and was about 250 lbs. at the time...I was about as "undetected" as an elephant)...to "snipe their base". I tried explaining that my marker didn't shoot any further than anyone else's, esp. since the velocity was maxed out at about 250 fps (it was a cold day for CO2). I eventually just told him "yeah, sure...", disappeared into the woods and did my own thing. And, of course, you've still got kids who heard from someone who's father's buddy's brother told them that 'cockers shoot twice as far as anything else and straight as an arrow...because THEY know the truth and don't buy any of that "laws of physics" stuff. |
