There's already lots of good infor below. The being snapped with a towel is the best way to descirbe being hit. If he's really pumped about playing and has a good understanding of what it will feel like, and still wants to play, I'd say...maybe. You don't want to rush things and ruin a sport that in another 2-3 years he would be crazy about, and not mind the hits so much. : My 10 year old son would like to try paintball as a hobby. I hear that it can be quite painful when you get hit by a paintball. Can you help me decide if this is right for him. Thank you.
