Velocity problem with Phantom

I am having a problem that I can not figure out. I have a SC Phantom with a rear ASA. My velocity will drop from 270 to 220 after a couple of games. If I refill the tank that is actually not low, the velocity will recover. I transport my tank in my ice chest and the tank is still cold when I chrono to 270 before play. It appears that as the tank warms, my velocity drops which I think is odd because I would think that it would increase because the tank pressure usually rises as the temp rises. Any ideas? I have confirmed that the adjuster is not moving and I am not the original springs...do you think that the higher pressure from the warmed tank is in effect raising the valve spring pressure? Also, if I chronoed with a warm tank, I think I may shoot hot if I chronoed soon after a fill...
