Like some of the others said, I would not rush it because 10 is kind of young. If he is a tough kid, then he may be OK. If he's kind of soft, it may be a good idea to wait for a year or so. Check the field out beforehand to observe the play and safety procedures. His first game could be a pleasure or a nightmare dependent on how the field is run. Bunkering a 10 year old would not be fun for the 10 year old. As was mentioned, renting equipment initially will be a good idea in case he finds that it's not his thing. : My 10 year old son would like to try paintball as a hobby. I hear that it can be quite painful when you get hit by a paintball. Can you help me decide if this is right for him. Thank you.
