I think the cocker 45 would work better since it has a sear and springs etc. Not sure how to make a mag frame work for it, but not the same internals, theres no sear but some sort of a rod configuration I think. You'll either have to make an adapter plate to put between the frame and the body, which could cause problems with sear engagement. My machinist friend takes a ball end mill and makes the frame accept the tubular reciever, this also requires shaving down the sear so it will release the hammer correctly. Hope it helps. Razor : I want to perform surgery on my PGP. First I want to put a .45 frame on it, and then I want an external velocity adjuster. First, I've seen both automag and autococker .45 frames in use for the PGP's that have them, but I was wondering which would be easier to put on. Keep in mind that I plan on doing this all myself since I don't exactly have the money to send it in to Doc or Chipley. Also, I've seen posts about do it yourself velocity adjuster mods, and was wondering where I could find information (or instructions) on that. Thanks a lot! : Steve
