***Disclaimer! I accept no responsiblility for your aCTIONS!!*** If you mill just the frame, then you use an .875 ball-end mill. You have to relocate the trigger pin, etc, to get the internals to fit if you want stock PGP parts in there. I have simply bolted a stock Cocker frame w/ slide trigger onto a Sheridan before and it worked, tho I hate slide triggers. Unless you got the tools and experience to try it, I'd suggest just getting hold of Punisher or Doc. They do this sort of thing a lot. Also, Palmers Pursuit Shop has one piece 45 frames. External VAs are easy if you got access to a drill press. Just drill a hole clean down the middle (1/4"), tap it, and use appropriate setscrew, preferably two short ones so one works as a locking screw so it doesn't back out on you. Or, even better, contact BigMatt at the PGP Owners Group or the Tinkers Guild Forum. He makes excellent rear VAs for Sheridans for about $10. I own three of'm and they are worth every penny. Honestly, I'd say save your money and have it done professionaly. |
