I own 2 of PT extremes..I have yet to have a problem with either one. It makes a great side arm to go along with my phantom. Phantom is great for sniping..but when the shiznit hits the fan..or the opportunity for CQB comes up the Xtrame is very nice. A few months ago in a scenario game..I took out two guys with semi's with just my PT. Buying one brand new is probably not in the college persons budget..but check ebay for some good deals. I've seen them for about $60 new in box..even cheaper for slightly used. Good luck.
