: What good aftermarket barrels are available for the Phantom? I have seen the barrel review at the phantom owners group it mentions the teardrop but I have never seen one in phantom threading and are they better than a stock 14" barrel. Also I have heard about the Dye stainless but they have been discontinued and I have never seen one in phantom threading ether.
: Is Punisher's barrel that accepts freak inserts good what about CCI's teflon barrel. Finally where can you get phantom barrel most stores and companies don't make or sell them.

Unfortunately most places don't make Phantom barrels anymore. the stock barrels are pretty good, and I have heard good things about the J&J ceramic coated, however, I was able to find a 14” Dye Boomstick for the Phantom and it is awesome. The barrel is very accurate at a great range and it is extremely quiet. They are hard to find now as they are no longer being made but I got lucky on ebay. I have played with the stock barrel a lot and it is actually not that bad. as a pump player you have an advantage in the fact that your equipment is extremely light and you are more mobile than most other players. pump players need to be aggressive and if you get within two or three bunkers of someone you will not notice much difference between stock and after market barrels, other than how quiet they are.
