Angel vs. something cheaper

Why should I buy an Angel? I hear they break down alot. I hear OBR hates them. Couldn't I get the same performance out of an Intimidator or a Shocker? Really, is it worth the added expense to the air temperature in the middle of a game. I bought a thermometer for $1.69 at Walgreen's and it works fine. C'mon, I got my M98 Custom to shoot around 10 ball/sec and it's not even a E-Bolt. Are we over compensating for something?
