If for no other reason, the COPS makes all the difference. It's not an anti-chop eye, but an anti-chop pressure sensor. When the ball comes down the feed neck, it lands on the sensor and the gun will fire. No ball, no fire. Now despite what some people will say, everyone breaks paint when you're really ripping it, but I don't break more than one or two in a day. And that's usually due to an irregular size ball, and is a barrel break, not a chamber break. That said, I personally like the feel of the IR3 over the LCD with the perpendicular grip. It also has the gate feed, and being a front player, and having those three balls locked in there has helped more than once. You can now get a feed neck with the gate-feed ring for the LCD as well. Beyond that, it's all cosmetic.
