Though I haven't got as much paint through mine yet, I'll second what Doc had to say. See you on the field, : If money's no object, get the IR3. Regardless of what you've heard, here are the facts. : There is nothing that an LCD can do that an IR3 can't. The IR3 can in fact do a few more things, some useful, some just fun. I've not had a single problem with mine. I've had it since March and have put just shy of 11,000 rounds through it. : If you get an IR3 you won't be disappointed, if you get a Fly LCD you won't be disappointed... but the IR3 is just the smarter choice of the two. IMFHO. : -Doc
Not everything is compatible between the IR3 and LCD - key things like the solenoid valve, ram, etc. and going with newer means a longer life of service parts, etc., down the road. Not to mention, the addition of COPS. A week ago, during the Vegas tournament, my IR3 was still here in FL, in the hands of a local firefighter's team in the state firefighter olympics paintball competition. It didn't break a ball the entire tournament.

: One thing to think about. The LCD WILL be phased out. No it won't be tomorrow, but just like the LED aftermarket parts will begin to disappear, support will start to slide and so on. The IR3 is the "newest" thing out and therefore will be backed for the longest period of any of the Angels currently in existence.
