IR3 Firing Problems ? Not enought air?

I just purchase an IR3 and am having mixed results. When I fire some time's it shoots and then clicks. The speed of the paintball vary 100fps. I was told that the snap ring may be to tight. My max speed is only 250 with the regulator opened. I am using a fixed 850 psi air tank from kingman.

Any Ideas would be appreciated...
