if you're looking long term, the ir3 will be the best bet. the 2002 lcd's are nice with a lot of available upgrades, but stuff like that will be out for the ir3 in no time.
i've got both, but when it comes time to really play, i grab the ir3.

: I'm 51 and I've got an IR3. Too bad my kids didn't buy it for me.
