According to John Rice (the designer) they are compatible - the only part that isn't compatible is the COPS, because that would require a whole new receiver to re-route the gas path around where the hole would need to be drilled for the connecting rod.

:I would like to have the space frame, because most of the new features are held within the frame, and I currently have a dark LCD V. 2.0, I love the milling and the color, it's my favorite of any angle I've ever seen. They don't currently have a green IR3, and putting a space frame on mine would basically acomplish that. Thanks for the info.

They do plan to release it, but right now all the new frames are going out the door on IR3s.
