On the pics of the IR interface it has an option for selecting "extended firing modes". I do not know if that option will be in the final version, and if it is, how many and which ones are totaly locked out of the other modes.

It was my understanding that all makers shipped w/o access to extended modes did not nessecarily not have the capability of using them, just no current way to enable them, though some will be locked regardless.

I haven't seen anyone with access to the extended modes, regardless of where they live/got them from, except from a couple of movies from WDP directly.

Personally semi is fine with me.

: After I got the message about the PDA IR interface I contacted WDP and was informed that if the gun does not allow access to the firing modes than the PDA interface won't work. Just thought This was interesting info if people thought that this was a solution.
