If you have the FA board it has 4 modes:

semi
3 rd burst
8 rd zip (burst fixed @ 8.75bps)
FA

They are set using the dip switches on the board:

up up
up down
down up
down down

Although I can't remember which is which.

Now, if the LED has a Gabriel board, it will have several more modes, all set by the trigger.
