: i am pursing the idea of buying an angel my local store has a few angel lEds and some lCds i was wondering what is the major difference between the two except the lcd screen like are they the same gun pretty much. If so is it really worth the few hundred extra to buy one? Also is there really any draw back to either angels in general or lEds, lCds

: Thanks

Your right, the main difference is the LCD screen and digital settings for dwell and rof. To set these on the LED you adjust a 'pot' using a small screwdriver.

Also, the LCDs:
run about 100psi lower (quieter also)
have a longer bolt
have a standard reg fitting

If you get a used LCD, beware of the 2K model (used the plastic 'key' instead of a switch and had a NiCad instead of a Nimh battery) - they were prone to board problems.

Now the big question, how do they shoot? No real difference.

Tom
