Angel LED Upgrades?

I was just wondering what upgrades I can put on a '98 Angel LED? I was mainly wondering if it's possible to buy the 2001 battery upgrade kit and put it into the LED. If I did buy the kit, could I also put a back plate onto the LED. I haven't found a site that sells upgrades specifically for the LED, so I'm not sure what exactly fits specifically on the LED. Thanks for any help.
