: Hi, Im going to buy an angel, what do I need to have a kick-ass marker.
: +air system
: +hopper
: +barrel

You'll need the first two, the Angel comes with a barrel - that's pretty much all it takes for it to be kick-ass.

: I will be playing compressed air

Yep, the Angel is built for nitrogen or compressed air (which are interchangeable).

If you go with the IR3 Angel, the COPS system is pretty forgiving if you are going to use a hopper like a Mach 404, Revolution or Ricochet. It's hard to outshoot those hoppers to start with, but not unheard of. The COPS system will protect you from that situation if you do. The "high end" route would be to go with a HALO, or a Warp Feed (which is a bit buliker, and still needs a hopper, making it more costly but reduces your overal target size).

As for the air system, the Angel has an adjustable vertical regulator, so you can use it with the lower cost pre-set screw-in style air systems. Most Angel owners, opt for something higher end though, since they've bought such a high-end paintgun.

Really, WDP's stock Angel barrels are good barrels. I would only really worry about another barrel for purposes of matching bore size to your paint, in which you might consider getting 3 or more barrels, or a barrel set like the Freak or CP sets.

See you on the field,
-Bill Mills
