I had a 2002 LCD (stolen 9/12/02) that was doing the same. I contacted WDP and they determined it to be a "Dirty Switch". The signal from the microswitch was sending a bad signal to the microprocesser causing the double fire. They replaced the intire board rather than chance swapping the microswitch as a warrantee item.
