Your logic is flawed. All the hype about open versus closed bolt and marker brand does not effect any conclusion about Barrels, accuracy and distance unless you have invented some new laws of physics,...which I doubt. Perhaps you may want to read some discussions and tests by Tom the Engineer and inventor of AutoMags, about the same topic. This is science not paintball hype !!!

Regardles of the hype, there are two constants which are the velocity and the barrels that are the same....which means the balls must generally shoot to the same place regardless of the kind of marker, etc. This also takes into account a third constant that a ball is not a stable projectal (with out sectional density) to enable it to consistantly travel in a straight line, which makes barrel accuracy discussion a joke !!!....Chuck

: I don't agree with ALL of that answer. The part of the AA barrel working just as good on a cocker as an Angel, YES thats true! Go for it! It will work great! BUT if you put a cocker, Angel, Timmy, Sypder and Tipman all with the same barrel, same conditions, same paint, everything identical, the Cocker will win. The presure put on the paint is different and the closed bolt design makes ball shoot a bit farther PLUS there is no motion of the cocking mech like on an open bolt system. The Angel will drop off sooner due to dwell and the way Angel's were designed, the Timmy will out perform the Angel any day and the Spyder won't fly straight! The Marker DOES matter, but a good barrel is a great start. Personally Angel's are great, but if your looking for accuracy and distance, you can't beet the Timmy!
