My LCD angel has been showing a code-3 fault lately. (temp too high). The gun is cold, the outside temp around 50 degrees. If I turn the marker off and on several times, it will come on and not go to fault and will function properly. However, the lifetime counter has jumped from 54,000 to 319,000 (aprox). Also the temp(when not in fault) shows 32 deg for a short time, then a few minutes later will show 115 degrees. At this time the marker is still functioning ok. Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Is it likely that the board is going bad? Does anyone know which component on the board senses the temp? maybe a bad sensor? Also, does anyone know the price to have the board replaced?(ballpark). Once I get it to come on without the fault I can play all day as long as I dont turn off the power switch.
Jim
