: Hi there. I have an ir3, and I know that supposedly all modes are locked axcept semi-auto but is there any way to change that? I heard that a new board can be purchased. I want to set a mode so that the trigger shoots a ball when the trigger goes back, then one when it goes forward again. Is there any way to make that possible? Thanks

The ONLY mode in the IR3 board (at least sold in the US) is semi-auto mode. There are no other modes to unlock.

What you are describing is called auto-response mode, something tournaments and most paintball fields banned back around 1994, when mechanical auto-response triggers came out for the Automag and PMI-III.

Since that mode is not in the IR-3 board, to get it you would either need to buy or build a custom board with auto-respons mode, and replace the IR-3s board with it - giving up the other LCD features, COPs, etc. (or design your own cops circuit for your custom board - not an easy task.)

See you on the field,
