The electros stay home or bring out their backup marker. A ported barrel will get wet through the ports and affect accruracy. Tape the Top Half of the porting or get out that stock unported barrel....

If you play in the rain, it just won't be that often. Take advantage and just tear it down, give it a good cleaning and relube. Nothing like a clean marker......

Getting it dry is good but you will have difficulty getting all the wet out that is sucked in between the receiver and the steel hammer by capillary action.

Pull out your hammer that night and get it dry and relubed.

The steel hammer will rust and you don't want that.

Other things that can rust are the sear and hardware bolts that aren't stainless. The springs may be steel but if you ever get a spring set, get the all stainless springs. $12.

Many detent balls and detent ball spring are steel and not stainless. Buy the stainless ball in the stainless or brass housing when you replace them. Pull them out and roll them on a paper towel on the table like a ball point pen to suck out all the water. Might as well clean with some denatured alcohol while you have it out and relube it. Same procedure. Then relube and repeat the procedure.

Denatured alcohol, isopropal alcohol, rubbing alcohol (same things) will absorb water as well as dissolve grease and gum and is ideal for getting water out of the inaccessible parts of your grip. Just soak it overnight in a covered pan. Then the alcohol evaporates and you have a clean marker ready to lube. It is ideal for cleaning especially with water exposure.

You asked about the revy. It is very rain resistant but the seam in the middle will draw water in by capillary action into the seam and also at the neck where it attaches to the marker. A light coating of Vaseline on those seams will be a good preventative measure for avoiding problems. Water just beads up and runs off. Cheap Trick.....
