With the air tank off to start with set the sear lug (little hole on top of gun just behind the feed tube, you'll have to pull the bolt to access it) so that the gun fires halfway through the trigger pull, put the air tank back on, just past that point (halfway through the trigger pull the three way should begin to activate the ram sending the block back to allow a ball to drop into the breach (if not doing this you'll have to adjust the trigger rod), at the rear most point of the trigger pull the block should be full back waiting for you to release the trigger and chamber the ball. When you get it right you can hold a piece of toilet paper over the feed tube and fire the gun it should suck the TP into the feed tube, not blow it out violently. Hope it helps.
